Spielanleitung
Pfeiltasten – Bewegen. Leertaste – Springen. A – Mit der Tasche zuschlagen. S – Juwelen werfen. Q oder W – Juwelen wechseln. E – Fähigkeit wechseln.

First of all, I hate the controls. Jumping with wind crystals doesn't work well for me. Half the time, jumping onto a short wall doesn't work either. Also, explain why exiting a level with full health means I start the next (each?) stage with 2 of 3 health?

I do see it has an autosave. After reloading go to level select and you can see the most recent level you were at. As for grabbing unlimited jewels, yup. Easiest way is to "finish and leave" a level and simply walk right back into that level again. But I agree with others, the controls are frustrating.
As for being too dark, you can change the brightness in the options. Much better now.
