When one looks back at their past, they remember happier days.
Bygone ages in which we looked at the world with innocent eyes,
eager to discover the secrets it held.
In nostalgic reminiscence we recall how it felt
to see the world through the eyes of a child.
Regardless of whether we have lived our lives to the fullest
or squandered the time we had, we think back on those times
with fondness; and we long for that era of our lives, which is
now no more, but will always exist in our hearts.
