If feels so bad when the AI ignore the obvious 7-gem match and instead do a 3-gem match in the corner of the screen and get a x6 combo

I thought everyone was just whining about the final boss. Well, first time I got three rainbow bonuses and two rages and I still couldn't beat him. Took a few tries but finally he raged on me when I had a counter bonus set up and we knocked each other out, which apparently counts as a victory. Awesome.

I beat the boss basically by having max defense upgrade and keeping the shield up. look for x4 all the time, recover health so you can take at least 100 dmg when you're not shielded. recover energy as needed. rage when there's nothing for you to do. Also, it's better to keep shield up so you don't take damage even if octopis attacks. with shield and counter on, you can take down the boss
