But if I were to make a list of my favorite bass players, I’d say Alex Webster(Cannibal Corpse, love to watch him play) and Cliff Burton(even though I can barely listen to Metallica anymore, made me want to pick up the bass guitar)

Bass players are the outcasts of the band lol. They just d play the same thing over and over and you can barely hear it unless you turn the Bass volume up.

that’s not true at all. The bassist is probably the most need member of the band, and they don’t always play the same thing over and over. only the crappy ones do.
