Kongregate Avatars Thread

This thread is for posting your own Kongregate avatars for other people to use, or for requesting a custom avatar that you’d like one of the artists here on Kongregate to make for you.

Heres a few of the ones I’ve made, the first set are game pieces from a puzzle game that I’m working on called Oh, Buoy!

And these last two are just a pair of robot heads that I drew the other day and gave two different color schemes to.

I’m open to some requests at the moment if you’d like your own custom avatar for Kongregate.

I made mine from a screenshot of a Flash prototype of a platformer mechanic I did a few years ago where Mario could shoot energy balls :D

what do we do to get the ones you posted?

Right click the image with your mouse, select “save as…” or “save image as…” (depends on your browser), then save it to somewhere on your hard drive.

Next go to your edit profile page and browse for the image in whatever directory you saved it to.

Or right click the page, select view source. Find the src image url and put use that in your account settings.

what program did you use to make this

I do most of my artwork in Flash, but you could use Photoshop, GIMP, Illustrator, or a number of other programs.

what is the easiest thing to use to make avatars for this site

Try GIMP buddy, it’s free and shouldn’t be too hard to figure out. Save your images as .jpg or .png.

i use MS paint but that y mine arent that good

Any chance we can get 100×100 or so avatars? That is still small compared to some sites…
