I agree, to a point. It gets annoying to see the badge victory text all the time because when you do, its usually some random 5 point badge. However, some hard and impossible badges are quite an achievement, and its nice to be congratulated when you finish one.

I don’t think there should be a thread for this, it just doesn’t seem like a good idea.

Eh? I can see the point of self loathing when you earned any impossible badge but announcing a mere 5 or 15 point badge is just… pointless.

I know the proud feeling I had when I have earned my first medium badge but after a while you just couldn’t be bothered on any specific badge achievement other than XXX points Until level YY.

And once you hit past level 20+, XXX points seems to take forever just by earning badges alone.

Yeah after getting past level 30 you just kinda stop caring about your level and how many points you have.

I’m lvl 32, and I still find it fun to raise my points, and get my remaining 6 badges! I don’t know why you say you don’t care anymore =P

I don’t like rating, i think it’s pretty dumb to enter kong and start rating games to get to higher levels, though that’s what people do if they want to be in the top ranking page :P

I am missing 14 badges, got the dolphin olympics impossible for my 300th badge :D

Anyway, i don’t see the point for this thread, and i agree that getting a congratz from others when you get a really hard badge is nice.

PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO QUOTE. At ArcaneCoder, people are generally not amused if you post a easy or medium badge, but a hard or impossible is generally congratulated, and I’m quite sure most people aren’t annoyed at it. Because reading about the same easy badges post after post is exactly what these forums need. Also, if you follow OP’s suit and post one badge at a time, this is a great way to boost your post count by several hundred!

I definitely will put in chat any difficulty Hard badge I get… or any Imp badge. And definitely will post when I get a new level. Hey, when you’re level 52… each new level is LONG! It’s a taunt. “Thanks for your rating! You’ve earned 1 point. You’re now only 1200 points away from level 53!” or something close to that. It mocks me. ONLY 1200!

Ha ha ha ha… I felt the same each time I rate a game. For the record, I only rate games that I have played, either by completing the game or at least 15 minutes if it sucks.
