Suggest a moderator

Hello!

I spoke who a Mod and they suggested I might try this. I’m been a member here since April and I’m a quiet one. I mainly come here in spare time to play and enjoy the games.

Anytime I login into Kongregate MinusDriver is always in my chatroom and keeping the peace in a respectful manner. Sometimes trolls and those lovely spammers find their ways into our rooms. He usually can just ask them nicely to stop. Then kindly links them the Code of Conduct and they usually always stop.

He helps people with gaming problems when they are stuck on levels. Like myself I must admit.

Anyways with all this said like to suggest MinusDriver as a Mod and get feedback from others.

Anyway the best way to recommend a moderator is by having another moderator recommend minusdriver you could email greg@kongregate.com, but generally the forums aren’t the best way.

I asked a Scotti “Mod” how to suggest a someone to be a Mod. They suggested this or email. I did both.

This often turns into people suggesting themselves directly or indirectly. I don’t think it makes much of a difference either.

Then if a friend is a perfect person for mod ship, I would have to let some person i don’t know recommend him?

I’ll second minus. I see him constantly on Kongai and Sirlin’s forums, and he seems like a generally well-spoken, rounded person that would make a good mod. But that’s just my two cents, and I think it’ll be totally up to how he presents himself to the staff.

Make me a Mod so I can have my own chat room and ban people. Or else just make me a chat room that is ment for grown up people. Either way I’d be happy.

The way I see it, there’s no sense in recommending somebody for mod, because if they are really worthy for Moderatorship, a mod or staff will notice them eventually and recommend them. That’s just the way I look at it, though. {I am also a firm believer in karma, so that might be the source of what I just said.}

Really well stated, FuzzyPanda. With the exception of some threads where that user Really does deserve to be a moderator, and several (Regular) users think the same way. Very, Very rarely is there such a thread, though.

MinusDriver for moderator? I would not say so. In Starfighter: Disputed Galaxy, he has (Or he had, I don’t know.) hacked/glithed highscores.
