animated avatars?

I was wondering how to make, or get, animated avatars. I mean, Kirby is awesome and all, but he doesn’t know what SCGMD is. So if anyone could make, or tell me how to make a SCGM avatar, it would be appreciated. not to be a pest or anything, im just a noob who knows nothing about flash. Thanks!

To get an animated avatar, you have to find a .gif, save it and then upload it as your avatar. It’ll probably get warped and go flickery though.

To make an animated avatar, I guess you’d have to take a bunch of screencaps of SCGMD, and then use a GIF creation programme to put them together. I don’t really know anything about that though.

the program I use whenever I desire to create anysort of .gif is Serif Drawplus.

really go to google images and esarch for whatever you want that easy MOO!

They do, actually. I have an animated avatar. Lots of them. If you mean they’re slightly defunct, then yeah.

Make sure before you use a graphic that the graphic has been released for public used under some form of free-use copyright license (e.g., copyleft ). Not checking this, and not giving credit for your avatar makes you a plagiarizer.

Stealing from the RIAA is almost cool, or something, but stealing from artists is not cool. Please don’t. My avatar, for example, is a compressed version of artwork that I spent a significant amount of my time and energy creating. I’m happy to share it, but only when full credit is given.

Well, it’s pretty bad manners to steal someone’s avatar. Especially since I often look at avatars in order to assume who the user is, without reading the name. For example, when someone steals greg’s avatar, I usually assume that the post is greg’s. If someone was to take my avatar, I’d change it so to avoid confusion for others. So don’t take anyone’s avatar. Not even if they give permission.
